To this day, I have never regretted pursuing a career as a doctor—quite the opposite. Growing up in a multi-generational household, caring for and supporting family members in need was second nature to us, and my career aspirations were clear from an early age. I've always been passionate about intensive care and acute care medicine. I was able to practice as a general practitioner in Berlin for several years, and during this time, I realized how important it is to communicate with patients.

After moving to Basel, I spent a year working in emergency medicine at the University Hospital of Basel, a recognized Swiss training center; a new environment, Swiss German, and so much more.

I am now very pleased to be able to contribute my knowledge and skills and the professional collaboration within the Medcenter Volta team for the benefit of patients.
